Failure, lack of recognition and people are some factors which can cause discouragement among leaders.

On how to overcome leadership discouragement, Eric Lau shares the following tips:

  • find someone whom you can talk to and give you sound advice (or a listening ear).
  • disconnect yourself from the source of discouragement.
  • forgive yourself, and don’t be too hard on yourself.
  • forgive others.
  • know when it’s time to quit.
