Young Entrepreneurship Programme .  

A course designed to develop fundamentals of personal, leadership, functional & business skills to master the capacity of identifying, building and running a business. This course is structured to specifically allow students learn through experiencing real life situations and challenges. Graduates earn a business plan or business itself.

By reducing conventional classroom learning, the YEP enable students to learn through experiences. Giving them real life projects and practical challenges that will broaden their horizons and expedite their learning curve through solving problems hands-on. The programme emphasizes on active experiential learning, hence modules such as team building & leadership camps, company field trips and live sharing sessions with key leaders gives students direct exposure of real world implications. Preparing and developing them to be the next leaders of their time.

The key to the course is to set up a viable business at the end of the course and leave the programme with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.


Course Outline 

Camp Sessions are one of the highlights of the course outline. There will be 2 camp sessions throughout the course:

Team Building & Leadership Camp -  Team Building & Leadership Camp focuses on essential traits consisting team building, communication skills and effective time management. 

Business Proposal Camp - The Business Proposal Camp focuses on individuals producing a strong and commercialize able business plan of for their business.

CEO Round Table - Key business leaders are invited every first week to have a session with the class to share their experiences and success stories with the students. The CEO Round Table also enables students to network and get to know key leaders in the industry.

Learning Through Experience Field Trips - Field trips will be conducted and students will be brought for site visits to MNC/SME companies (i.e. factories, theme parks).

Community Drive - Students are given a community driven project whereby they work in teams and collaborate with other social NGO's (i.e. WWF, The Earth Saviours) or community service centers to organize and execute a project for a social cause.

Reader for Leaders - Each month students will be given books (i.e. International Best Sellers) to read, that are related to what they learn during throughout the course that will be applicable as an entrepreneur.

Make Or Break - Case studies of Fortune 500 companies, start-ups or SME's are provided to the students to analyze. Focus groups will be held to discuss the successes and failures in businesses or corporations.

Entrepreneurial Minds - Creativity & innovation think tank. Students are taught to think as an entrepreneur by being one. Collaborating with corporations, students will be required to be involved in solving the current problems that the company is going through.

Practical Practice Program - In this module students are given challenges and task to complete base on the set of mastery skills they acquired.

RECAP Sessions - At the end of every month students are required to do a short presentation and have group discussions on what they learnt(from classes/projects/books/camps) throughout the entire month.

Mastery skills are successfully proven modules to develop & harness skill and mindsets of each individual. The mastery modules will be taught throughout the course which encompasses Personal, Leadership, Functional and Business.

Fee Structure  

RM15,000 for the course, RM12,500 for early bird who register before April 7th.

4 terms to break up the payment (RM4000/4000/4000/3000)

Early bird has to pay RM12,500 one shot.


Apply for Scholarship

If you meet the minimum criteria stated, please:

  1. Complete the Scuola Superiore Scholarship Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results.
  2. New Students are required to submit a Scuola Superiore Application Form to apply for the chosen programme and make the minimum payment of RM150 of the Student Application Fee.
  3. New Students will submit the form and attachments to the Scholarships Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline.
  4. For consideration by the Scholarship Committee in April of each year, scholarship applicants must be registered students of Scuola Superiore Leaderonomics.
  5. If you are a continuing student, submit the form to your Head of Department/ Manager who will endorse the application. The Head of Department/ Manager will then pass your form to the Scholarships Officer in the Registry.
  6. Your form will be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for consideration within 1 week after the closing date.

The decisions of the Scholarship Committee will be published by 2nd week of April. 
 

Important Note:

  • As scholarship awards are limited and competitive, only candidates who meet the minimum criteria specified in this brochure are eligible to apply.
  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
  • All scholarship applications will be evaluated and short-listed by the Scholarship Awards Panel of Scuola Superiore Leaderonomics. Scuola Superiore Leaderonomics’ Scholarship Committee reserves the right to change the criteria from time to time.
  • The information contained in this pamphlet is correct at the time of print. Please refer to the respective Academic Departments to check on the latest updates and amendments. 

Financial Assistance - Study Loan

  1. You are encouraged to obtain a copy of the study loan agreement from the Registry prior to submitting the application. You should read this document thoroughly to ensure that you understand the implications of Scuola Superiore Leaderonomics' Financial Assistance Scheme.
  2. Complete a Scuola Superiore Scholarship Application Form indicating clearly on the form that you are applying for financial assistance.
  3. Attach a covering letter from your financial sponsor outlining all relevant circumstances together with a certified copy of his/her latest EA Form/ Borang J. Submit the application form to the Scholarship Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline.
  4. Submit the application form to the Scholarship Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline.
  5. Your form will be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for consideration within 1 week after the closing date. Factors taken into account will include your financial sponsor’s total household income and the number of other dependants in the household.
  6. Upon approval of your application, you and your legal guardian will be required to sign the study loan agreement.
