Executive Leadership Development Programme (ELDP)

Programme Summary 

The ELDP programme is a practical MBA specially tailored to develop and accelerate leadership characters in mid management identified for executive positions. It is a one year part time programme that allows students to remain productive in their own current roles in their companies.

The programme is offered  to Corporates to develop their best talents from their current levels of management to the top positions in their company.

ELDP is not a post-graduate MBA , The minimum requirement for enrollment is 35 years of age and above and at least 5 years of experience in mid management roles, such as Division Manager, General Manager and similar.

At completion of the ELDP the candidates will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment by Scuola Superiore.

The programme is 70 % practical, with individual and group project , field trips and stages abroad (Asia, Europe, US), projects in host companies.

Only 30 % is theory on leadership, personal mastery, business  mastery, functional mastery with role modeling, mentoring, roundtables, executive coaching.  


Programme outline 

The programme intends to provide broad exposure to management theory, while maximizing the development of our students through live projects , project management, people management and other practical leadership development activities.

Assessment:

2 days in depth assessment at the start of the program
1 day debrief assessment at graduation 

Classroom training & Leadership training

Technical traditional classroom training will include understanding finance, marketing, business strategy, and change management. One week per quarter. 

Mentorship

Each student will be paired at the beginning of the programme to an official “”mentor””, a senior executive in a business from a different industry. Mentorship meetings will take place on a monthly basis, unless otherwise agreed upon between mentor and mentee. . 

Monthly CEO round tables, site visits.

Monthly 2 hours lunch/dinner roundtables with key leaders from Malaysia, regional and global corporates.
Monthly visits to industries, factories, think tan 
 

Projects

Project 1: Business Simplification Process, individual project, each participant must complete a “”simplification”” (process change) project in his own company, with closure

Project 2: Strategic project that drive business goals, across sectors, team project The class will be divided in teams of 4/5 students. Each team will have to complete a project involving a sector they are not from, a different company and business, in a different country. The projects will be strategy based change projects. Project closure will be strategic recommendations to the host company.

Project 3: Community Projects to practice leadership skills, team project. Each team will lead, drive and execute one community project in the community around them. They are required to find funding and influence volunteers to participate in the realization of the project, with closure

Graduation

The student will graduate after completing all the requirements: the 3 projects, the leadership and classroom training, the 2 e-electives. At graduation the participant will receive the Certificate of Accomplishment issued by Scuola Superiore, endorsed by the visiting faculties.
