Combining various elements such as hands-on experience in project execution, mentorship with key industry leaders, workshops and much more, DIODE provides a kick-start to leadership development. DIODE Leadership Series! Tweens Camp: Targeting youth between the ages of 12-13 years, transitioning from primary school to the secondary school environment.    This camp aims to address a crucial issue at this age; What to do next? How to handle new situations and environments? What’s going to be my game plan? Being in the transitional stage, we would like provide some tools and exposure for our young campers to assist them in charting their life changing phase.    Details of Camp  Dates: 22nd - 25th November 2009  Venue: El Sanctuary, Alor Gajah, Malacca  Fees: RM 390 before 11th October (Normal price RM499) Youth Leadership Camp: Targeting youths between the ages of 14-17 years.    This camp specifically targets Leadership Development. Thus all the modules designed for this camp revolves around using the Leaderonomics Extreme Leadership module to equip our participants on exploring their leadership potential. Some of the sessions that are run during this camp include for example; Discovering more on your personality, strengths and weakness and learning to use it better, Skill building workshops such as confidence and communication skills, Leadership through creative art and writing, Making money the right way, and so on. Besides that, we also run simulations and projects which last throughout the camp duration to teach our campers the hands on approach to leadership development.    Details of Camp  Dates: 30th Nov - 5th December 2009  Venue: TBC  Fees: RM 590 before 11th October (Normal price RM 699) School Leavers Camp: Targeting school leavers between the ages of 17-19 years.    The most critical, formative stages of a person’s life begin upon reaching the ages of 17-19. Research has shown that values inculcated during this time are more inclined to stick for life. Hence, it is crucial to harness and ground positive and constructive value systems during this window. This camp will also focus on issues that youth face as they grow into young adults such as making difficult choices that drive their career paths and learning to become more self-motivated.    Details of Camp  Dates: 4-9 January 2010 Venue: El Sanctuary, Alor Gajah Fees: RM590 before 31 October (Normal price RM699) ** Fees are inclusive of accommodation, food, transport from a designated point in Klang Valley, and all materials cost during camp.
